On Site Consultations
Herman Brothers have helped 100’s of fishing clubs, campgrounds,
lake associations, and private recreational land owners not
only become better stewards of their land and resources, but
also to manage their lakes and ponds for exactly what purpose
they want or need them to be. “One size fits all” is not
the case when it comes to managing a body of water! We travel
across the state of Illinois
all year long teaching clients how to properly manage and
maintain their water to best suit their individual goals!
Herman Brothers have also started a FEATURED PROPERTY division that
focuses on recreational land for sale, lease, or memberships.
We regularly inspect properties to make sure the current body
of water will suit the prospective owners needs. We also help
determine before the sale the logistics as to whether a pond
or lake can feasibly be built on a property. Another aspect of
our featured properties division would be to help sellers,
fishing clubs, and campgrounds market their piece of property
while adding value and desirability.
Consultation Packages:
A Full Lake Audit consists
of a complete fish population analysis either by a trapnetting
survey or by an electrofishing survey. Also, on-site we will
visually analyze the water quality, inspect the dam, identify
the weeds and algae, evaluate the overall habitat, and
incorporate your lake goals to create a completely customized
written report and management plan. Cost of the Full Lake
Audit is $600 plus $3 per mile one way from Peoria.
An On-Site Survey is
for properties planning on a new lake, enquiring about
vegetation control, or just simply inspecting a property
before or after purchasing. We still incorporate fisheries
management into the equation, just without the need for the
actual electrofishing survey. Cost of an On-Site Survey is
$250 plus $1.50 per mile one way from Peoria.
The Featured Property Package
is for Properties for Sale, Campgrounds, and Fishing Clubs looking to add value and
marketability to their property. Strict requirements must be
met in order for a property to become a (Herman
Brothers Featured Property). Our name is extremely
important to the success of our business and we will only put
our name on properties that we are currently managing and
improving. Requirements would be a Full Lake Audit with
written management plan along with a defined amount of
improvements that would need to be made. The minimum amount of
improvement needed would be at the sole discretion of HB for
each individual property.
