Cygnet BioBlend II WSP (water soluble packets) is a formulation of beneficial pond bacteria, for use in ponds, lakes, lagoons, fish & shrimp hatcheries and similar aqua-environments. It naturally removes excess ammonia-causing and nitrite-causing wastes from the water, while simultaneously removing problem-causing nitrates and phosphates. It also naturally removes decaying organic wastes such as grass clippings, leaves, excess fertilizer runoff, dead plants and animal wastes. Plus, it eliminates murky water, odors and bottom sludge, caused by organic waste buildup.
Cygnet BioBlend II WSP is an entirely organic method of maintaining your water body. Cygnet BioBlend II WSP works throughout the entire water column and bottom sludge layer, to digest organic wastes generated by animal and plant life in the body of water. This new and improved version does not require a slurry mix. Simply take out the water soluble package and toss it into your lake or pond. The bacteria within will self disperse and multiply on their own!
These bacteria are a specific blend of high-quality, gram-negative, naturally occurring bacteria designed to augment existing pond bacteria populations to enhance their ability to reduce organic pond sediment (“muck”).
Recommended Application Rates:
Once your water temps reach 55 degrees, add 6 lbs per surface acre. Then add 3 lbs per surface acre every two weeks.
That rate can be doubled for ponds with rich organic matter, or if they have a history of heavy duckweed or algae infestations.
Typical one acre pond uses 35 lbs from April to September (in the Midwest). |
