Touchdown Pro is a patented formulation, broad spectrum, systemic high performance, non-selective herbicide. This product is now registered for use in non-crop areas including aquatic sites. It controls more than 170 annual and perennial weeds, including vines and woody brush.
Touchdown Pro has a unique four step delivery system:
Good Weed Contact: Built in wetter enhances the drop retention on the leaf for longer contact time and better absorption.
Combating Natural Antagonism: Touchdown Pro maximizes the glyphosate available for uptake by neutralizing positively charged ions, such as calcium and magnesium.
Penetration: Needed for systemic activity, Touchdown Pro penetrates the leaf without rupturing the epidural cells, thus providing more product to shoots and roots.
Translocation: Components of the formulation promote movement throughout the plant's vascular tissue to get the herbicide to where it will do the most. (the shoots, roots, and rhizomes) |
